One of the available treatment options at the ARK. In vitro fertilization is the process whereby the eggs retrieved, and sperm collected are combined in the laboratory. The fertilized eggs are incubated in the lab for a few days and the resulting embryos are transferred back into the womb. You may require IVF if the sperm parameters are poor (reduced sperm count or motility), if your tubes are blocked if you have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility if you have endometriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome to mention a few.
The process of involves hormone suppression, ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, embryo transfer and a pregnancy test about 2 weeks post-embryo transfer
